Organised and hosted byRiverstick-Kinsale AC and Kinsale Triathlon Club, the race attracted a greatturn out with nearly 650 athletes competing on the day. The race started andfinished at the Kinsale Community School and comprised of a mostly flat coursewith a few small hills, just to make it interesting. Conditions on the day werebreezy, but dry and quite mild for the time of year. Both BTC athletes did wellon the day with Justin powering home in a very impressive 59:29, 20thoverall and 8th male in the 18-39 age category and Christian cominghome in 1:29:17. Well done to the organisers and everyone who took part on theday. This will hopefully become a permanent fixture on the early season raceschedule. While Justin and Christian were hitting the roads in Kinsale, fellowclub man, Conor McCarthy had travelled to West Limerick to compete in the AnalogDevices Adare 10k. This is a very popular race on the run calendar and 657runners took part in the race on the day. Well done Conor and everyone else whoraced on the day.
