The Edge Sports Blackwater Triathlon
The Edge Sports Blackwater Olympic distance Triathlon is on in Fermoy on Sunday June the 18th 2023 at 9.00 am. It’s now open for entry for individuals and relays through www.triathlonireland.com . The very first Blackwater Triathlon took place on Sunday the 31st of August 2008, with 350 competitors taking part on the day. Last year we were finally able to hold a race again after two years without a race due to Covid restrictions and the Blackwater Triathlon Club was delighted to welcome athletes back to Fermoy for a day of racing. For many athletes this was the first opportunity to race in nearly three years and it was a great day out for athletes and spectators both. This year we will be running three races on the day once again, a try-a-tri event, a sprint triathlon and an Olympic distance race. There is something there for all levels and we look forward to seeing you all on the day.
