The Edge Sports Blackwater Triathlon 2024
The Edge Sports Blackwater Triathlon is on in Fermoy on Sunday June the 23rd 2024 at 10.00 am. It’s now open for entry for individuals and relays through www.triathlonireland.com . The very first Blackwater Triathlon took place on Sunday the 31st of August 2008, with 350 competitors taking part in a sprint triathlon on the day. This year the Blackwater Triathlon Club is delighted to announce that we are once again hosting a National Series race . Many of the country’s best triathletes will be coming to Fermoy to take part in this Olympic Distance race. We will also be running two other races on the day. A Super Sprint event consisting of a 400m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run (with a relay option) and an Aquavelo event which will be comprised of a 400m swim and a 20km cycle. There is something there for all levels and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday the 23rd of June.
