Back Swimming

While the weather this year hasn’t been excessively cold so far, it’s still been a little on the cool side for most people to attempt any open water swimming, especially without the comfort of a wetsuit. However, this didn’t deter two of Blackwater Triathlon Club’s cold water swimming aficionados as Stephen Dalton and Frank Hallissey took to the reservoir at the weekend for a January dip. The temperature of the water was 6.6 degrees Celsius, just the thing to wake you up on a January morning.
