The 2nd Great Blackwater Swim will be run on the 14th of July 2018. After the success of the event last year we are very much looking forward to running the event again in 2018.This is a beautiful 3.5km down river swim from Castlehyde House to Fermoy along the Blackwater River, getting out at Fermoy Rowing Club.Swimmers will need to be competent and have completed a 2km swim within 2 months of race date. Cut off time is 1pm, any swimmers not finished at that time will have to get into the safety boat and will be brought to the finishing point.Check out our event section for further information and registration or click here to register.
