Blackwater Triathlon Club member, Stephen Dalton, was in Kinsale on the 23rd of February to take part in the second annual Kinsale 10 mile Road race. Organised and hosted by Riverstick-Kinsale AC and Kinsale Triathlon Club, the race attracted a great turn out with approximately 1000 athletes competing on the day. The race started and finished at the Kinsale Community School and comprised of a mostly flat course with a few small hills, just to make it interesting. Conditions on the day were perfect for running, calm and dry and quite mild for the time of year. Stephen had a great day out, crossing the finish line in a very impressive time of 1:25:17. The race was really well organised and supported by the people of Kinsale. Well done to the organisers and everyone who took part on the day.
